me and yoga

It all began with Kundalini Yoga several years ago in 2005. Since then I have experienced different styles of yoga until I found my passion for Vinyasa. I completed my teacher training (200h YA) in April 2016. Vinyasa connects everything in yoga that is important to me: dynamic and powerful movements, an inner intention with an outer physical posture, precision and devotion at the same time, leaving your own comfort zone whilst respecting the physical limits. My own practise gives me physical as well as mental balance and strength. The sequences feel like a soft massage. It’s a dance.

I have always been exploring the path of life. I studied biology with the intention to understand life in general. After finishing my studies and seven years of working as a project manager in clinical research, I lost the connection to my actual thoughts and understood that I couldn’t find the meaning of life just with a scientific view. I started a postgraduate degree to become a teacher for Waldorf schools and dived into the world of anthropology. During this time, I reconnected with my interests and also completed my yoga teacher training.

I keep on teaching myself and did a Thai Yoga Bodywork Training as well as a 100h Yin Yoga Training in 2021. In 2022 I finished my practice for beeing a qigong trainer. I was exctied to learn more about the TCM.

I love being a teacher and sharing ideas and thoughts with others. In a class we also share our energy which can make a lesson very intensive.

For now I understood so far that science and believing in someting else in any way, is not that far apart from each other: it’s all about energy and balance.
