Overall Permaculture is nature-oriented living. This means that e.g. the water from the shower is used to water the plants and, classically, kitchen waste is composted to become soil again. In a nutshell, permaculture means that we use things which are already there and additionally keep them in a cycle. Nothing is wasted.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">With part of the income from \u201cCasa Salgada\u201d the land in Serra de Monchique was renaturated in 2020. For every guest, we planted one tree on the land.
